NEWS Survey on Psychoactive Substance Use and Emerging Trends

Welcome, and thank you for participating in our survey.
The aim of the National Early Warning System (NEWS) is to identify emerging developments related to psychoactive substances (both legal and illegal) and the non-medical use of prescription or other medicinal products (i.e., medicines taken without medical supervision, for example for recreational purposes) at an early stage. This enables us to provide timely information to people who use these substances, as well as to other relevant stakeholders, about potentially harmful trends. This survey makes an important contribution by collecting information on psychoactive substance use and any emerging developments you may have observed.
This
questionnaire focuses on developments in Germany. Please answer all questions
only with regard to developments you have observed in Germany and your own drug
use within Germany.
Although many trends transcend national borders, please consider whether you
have observed these changes specifically in Germany when responding.
The survey takes approximately 5–15 minutes to complete. To thank you for your time, you will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw at the end of the survey for a chance to win one of five €50 Wunschgutschein gift vouchers. These vouchers can be redeemed at more than 500 retailers in Germany.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the survey at any time. All information you provide will be treated in strict confidence and will remain anonymous.
