Survey on Immigration and Refugees in Berlin and the Situation for newly Arrived Migrants 

Dear Participant, Thank you for your interest in our survey for the Berlin Senate. This survey is aimed at: 

• individuals over 18 years old 
• who have come to Berlin between 2019 to present 
• who come from Ukraine, India, the Russian Federation, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Syria, or Turkey 

We would like to learn more about your migration or flight to Berlin and your current living, working, and/or Ausbildung (vocational training) situation in Berlin. We are interested in the experiences you have had so far, the challenges you face, and the needs and plans you have regarding life in Berlin. This survey is part of the “Future of the Labour Market” project. We are investigating how labour and educational migration to Berlin can be well-structured and how good working conditions can be promoted. Your responses will help us develop concrete policy recommendations to improve your situation and more broadly, the circumstances for newcomers to Berlin.
