What happens to your data?

• Your data are used only to organise your appointments and to check whether you can take part safely in the MRI and brain stimulation sessions.
• They are stored on university/SoSci Survey servers in Germany, accessible only to the study team, and kept separately from your research data.
• Your contact and screening data are deleted 24 months after the end of data collection. They are never passed on to third parties.
• Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons by emailing the contact above; your data will then be deleted.
• You have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. RUB data protection officer: datenschutz@ruhr-uni-bochum.de.
