3. Subject and purpose of the processing of personal data
The data is used for the requirements analysis and further development of the online self-assessments (SAMs) for bachelor's degree programs at RWTH Aachen University. The results are also used for research purposes (publications and presentations) in the course of the general SAM further development. If you would also like to take part in the raffle, your e-mail address (separated from the survey data) will be used in the course of the raffle.
4. Pseudonymity of the data
The survey is pseudonymized. No direct personal data such as names are collected. The collected demographic data is processed in such a way that it would take a disproportionate amount of effort to draw conclusions about you. If you wish to take part in the raffle, your e-mail address will be stored separately from the survey data.

6. Recipients of the data
The data will be processed exclusively by the responsible scientists of the CLS - Center for Teaching and Learning Services, including research assistants of the Center of RWTH Aachen University, and will not be passed on to third parties. The scientific teaching staff will only receive information from this survey in a processed, anonymized and non-individual form.

8. Data deletion and storage period
The pseudonymized data is stored for a period of 10 years to enable long-term research and publications and is deleted after this period.
9. Legal basis
For the processing of personal data in connection with the above-mentioned research project, consent is required in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO and serves as the legal basis.
10. Rights of the data subject
If personal data is processed by the undersigned, he is the data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and has the following rights vis-à-vis the controller.
Pursuant to Article 15 ff. of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to request from the controller, under the conditions defined therein, access to the personal data concerning him or her, as well as the rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of processing, a right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, the data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority (https://www.ldi.nrw.de/) if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes this regulation. If the processing is based on the consent of the data subject (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR), he/she also has the right to revoke the consent at any time without incurring any disadvantages and without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation; this only takes effect in the future.
