As a follow-up to the 2024 conference “Cooperation with Ukraine in the Humanities”, BAYHOST as well as the partnering organizations Denkraum Ukraine, the Forum Multilingualism and Regionality “FoMuR”, and the Institute of German Studies at University of Regensburg invite researchers and experts to Regensburg for a conference with a focus on Multilingualism, heritage languages, and the connection of trauma and language.

In addition to the conference itself, BAYHOST will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on October 28, 2025 to which all participants are cordially invited.

Due to the high interest in the conference, the application for presentations had to be closed earlier.
There is still the possibility to participate with a poster or as a guest in the audience.

If you would like to give your presentation or workshop in another language than English, you are welcome to do so!
In order to make sure that everybody in the audience is able to follow, please provide some kind of translated help – for example, english presentation slides for a talk in Ukrainian.

We are sorry to inform you, that we cannot offer compensation of travel cost to additional participants at this point. Participants now have to travel on their own cost.

We are sorry to inform you, that our limit of hotel reservations has been reached. We can no longer offer accommodation through BAYHOST for additional participants.
