This survey is being conducted as part of a bachelor thesis in Multimedia und Kommunikation at the Hochschule Ansbach. It investigates social media use, attitudes toward artificial intelligence, AI‑generated content, and the Dead Internet Theory.

Participation is voluntary. You may stop the survey at any time without giving a reason and without any disadvantages. If you close the browser window or do not submit the questionnaire, your responses will not be saved.

The survey is designed to be anonymous. No personally identifiable data (e.g. name, email address, exact address, or other information that could directly identify you) are collected. Please also do not enter any personal data about yourself or third parties in open text fields.

All data will be used solely for academic research purposes and will be evaluated and published only in aggregated or anonymised form, so that no conclusions about individual persons are possible.

The anonymised survey data will be stored securely until the end of the winter semester 2026/27 and will be deleted afterwards, unless a longer retention period is required by law or university regulations.

The survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Please answer the questions honestly and choose the response that best matches your opinion.
